Pokemon GO's May 2019 update added new Gen 4 Pokemon to the game, including new evolutions that players were unable to get before. This includes electric- and steel-type Pokemon Magnezone, who is the evolved form of the Gen 1 Pokemon Magneton. And unlike many other Sinnoh region Pokemon, players don't get Magnezone using a Sinnoh Stone.

Instead of evolving Magneton with a Sinnoh Stone, Pokemon GO players have to use the new Lure Modules. Not only did the latest Pokemon GO update add new Pokemon to the game, but it also introduced three new Lure Modules that attract specific Pokemon as well as evolve certain Pokemon.

The Lure Module Pokemon GO players will want to get to evolve Magneton to Magnezone is the Magnetic Lure Module. Like the other new Lure Modules, the Magnetic Lure Module is available for 200 coins in the shop. Players can get these coins by spending real cash on Pokemon GO, or alternatively, they can defend a gym for four days to get the necessary funds.

After purchasing a Magnetic Lure Module, the next step is to find a PokeStop. Any PokeStop that doesn't already have a Lure Module attached to it will do. Upon finding a suitable PokeStop, attach the Magnetic Lure Module to it and then stay within spinning distance of the PokeStop. As long as Pokemon GO players have at least 100 Magnemite candy, they should have no problem evolving Magneton to Magnezone.

Adding Magnezone to one's Pokemon GO collection will go a long way in helping players fill out their Pokedex. However, it seems safe to say that there are more popular Pokemon that players can get using the new Lure Modules. For example, Eevee can now evolve to Glaceon and Leafeon thanks to the Lure Modules.

Moving forward, it's possible Niantic will add more Pokemon that can evolve using the Lure Modules, but in the meantime, Pokemon GO players can focus on adding Magnezone and the others currently available in the game to their collection.

Pokemon GO is out now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
