Pokemon players still have a little less than two months to go before they can dive into Pokemon Let's Go!, but that doesn't mean they can't start doing some homework now. To prepare for the game's launch, players are able to use Pokemon GO to start storing up all of the Pokemon that they plan to send to the Switch game.

As expected each of the Pokemon Let's Go! variants has a short list of version exclusive Pokemon. As far as we know so far, there is no restriction on transferring those exclusives into the game from Pokemon GO, rather than from the opposite version.

For players who want to make sure they can complete the Pokedex as early as possible, we recommend getting all of the Pokemon GO transfers ready for the big move. Here's a look at the handy visual guide, courtesy of The Silph Road community...

Luckily, most of the version exclusive Pokemon are fairly common in everyone's Pokemon GO inventory thanks to the latest Gen 1 event. Storing up a full collection of these exclusives likely won't require very much work at all in the mobile AR game.

As more details emerge on any possible restrictions for transferring Gen 1 creatures to the Switch game, we'll be sure to post updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!

Pokemon GO is available now in select regions on Android and iOS devices. Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go Eeveerelease on November 16 exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
