A recent Pokemon GO leak revealed that Pokemon from Scarlet and Violet will soon be added to the game, expanding Pokemon GO to the current generation of the main Pokemon series. While Pokemon GO does not have every Pokemon in the franchise, the game's Pokedex continues to grow.

One example is the debut of Kleavor in Pokemon GO, with Niantic adding the Bug/Rock-type first seen in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Pokemon GO has also added more familiar names to the fans, such as Bounsweet, Steenee, and Tsareena, as well as Larvesta and its evolution Volcarona. The latter addition sparked some controversy in Pokemon GO because fans felt it was too hard to get Volcarona. Now, a new leak brings more exciting news for Pokemon GO players.

Poke Miners has revealed that Pokemon from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are coming soon to Pokemon GO, though it did not give a precise date. The list includes names like Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, which are Gen 9 starter Pokemon. The Paldean trio will be added to Pokemon GO along with their full evolution lines. Koraidon and Miraidon, the Legendary Pokemon that are Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's mascots, are also coming to Niantic's game. The list revealed by Poke Miners is significant and reveals that fans will also see the Pokemon GO debut of Gen 9 favorites like Tinkaton, Lechonk, and Wiglett, which will also come with their evolutions.

In addition to the Scarlet and Violet Pokemon that will be added to Pokemon GO, Poke Miners also reveals that the augmented reality game will be getting new forms. These forms are variants of Gen 9 Pokemon, and the list confirms the debut of the Maushold Family of Three, and Maushold Family of Four, which are the Maushold variants in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Other interesting names are Miraidon Ultimate Mode and Koraidon Apex Build. In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Miraidon and Koraidon have access to five different forms, with Ultimate Mode and Apex Build being the most powerful forms. Finally, the leak reveals that Pokemon GO will add two new moves, Liquidation and Leafage.

Although Pokemon GO has still been facing problems, May has been an interesting month for players of Niantic's title. Pokemon GO announced the Master Ball, finally adding the strongest Pokeball there is in the Pokemon universe. With the upcoming arrival of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet critters and their variants, Gen 9 will finally be truly present in Pokemon GO, since Niantic's game currently has only Gimmighoul and Gholdengo.

Pokemon GO is available for Android and iOS mobile devices now.
