A Pokemon GO leak reveals that an intriguing feature is in development for Raid Battles. Niantic has been working to make Pokemon GO gameplay fun by adding various content. This content includes events, new Pokemon, items, and different ways to play the game that makes players exercise their creativity when it comes to setting up their teams and strategizing.

Besides walking around to find and capture Pokemon, one of the ways to have a lot of fun in Pokemon GO is by participating in Raid Battles. These battles happen in groups and trainers can challenge different raid types to battle specific Pokemon. One example is the recent return of Elite Raids, a more challenging variant of standard raids, which brought the legendary Regidrago to Pokemon GO. Raid Battles already have familiar mechanics for players, as they know what to expect from this game mode. But according to a new Pokemon GO leak, this may soon change thanks to the introduction of a new feature.

The PokeMiners website recently revealed several features in development for Pokemon GO, including move modifiers for Raid Battles. According to the leakers, these modifiers change how a move performs during battle, and the condition that triggers these modifiers can be a variety of things. Some examples speculated by PokeMiners are conditions based on cooldown (can only use it every X times), usage (can be used X times), and moment (when the boss is at a certain HP percentage). The leakers emphasize that this is a path for Niantic to follow should the devs decide to add two famous mechanics from the main series to Pokemon GO. One is the Z-Moves from Pokemon Sun and Moon, and the second is the Gigantamax Pokemon from Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Previously, PokeMiners revealed that a new Pokemon GO raid type is also in development, which means potential good news for players. While the leakers have no information on when move modifiers will arrive in the game, they report that this feature will not be restricted to raids. The leaks point out that move modifiers will also be added to Pokemon GO's PvP, although at the moment there is no information on how the feature will work in this case.

Move modifiers have the potential to shake up the way raids are played, making them more interesting. It is something that may require players to find new ideas and ways to play, adding an extra layer of challenge. This also shows that Niantic continues to work on Pokemon GO actively, bringing content that makes the game more dynamic and fun for players.

Pokemon GO is available now on Android and iOS.
