Since its introduction a few months back, Pokemon GO's recurring Community Day event has become one of the game's most exciting topics. The chance to catch a ton of a single pokemon, acquire shiny spawns, get a special move, and benefit from other rewards for three hours is just too good to pass up (even when the featured monster isn't super exciting). Although players currently have their eyes set on the upcoming May event, it's never too early to look ahead.

Niantic already confirmed that Pokemon GO's featured monster for May's Community Day event will be Charmander. Although players likely won't find out which pokemon is next until after the May 19 event, the dates for the following two events have now been confirmed.

In a recent press release that outlined Pokemon GO's events for the first half of the summer, the game's developers revealed that the June Community Day event is set to take place on Saturday, June 16 and the July event is scheduled for Sunday, July 8.

For gamers who like to plan ahead and want to make sure they don't need to pick up a shift at work or anything during the event, having these dates months in advance is a huge benefit. Also, alternating between Saturdays and Sundays seems like a good way to make sure everyone gets a chance to participate in at least some of the events.

The featured pokemon for the June and July events have yet to be confirmed, but if the past is any indication, we'll likely know the June pokemon less than 24 hours after the Charmander event concludes thanks to a leak, datamine, or early announcement.

Check back later this month for more details on the upcoming events. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
