As the June 2022 Pokemon GO calendar of events kicks off, fans of the mobile AR game have a lot of activities to explore. Obviously next weekend's GO Fest 2022 event is going to steal the spotlight for a bit, but that is only the beginning of the month (and the latest in-game season). The following weeks are set to include plenty of other events and exciting Battle Raids, as well.
June 2022's Legendary and Mega Battle Raid schedule for Pokemon GO may look like retreading a lot of old ground at first glance, but there's actually a few things to be excited about with these returning bosses. Kyogre and Groudon are kicking off this month's Battle Raid activities and then later in June Mewtwo will be returning to Legendary Battle Raids with some interesting move sets that could help shake up the PoGO metagame.
In addition to the 5-star Battle Raids that will be drawing players out to burn some Raid Passes, there are also some interesting items in the Mega Raid schedule, as well. Collectors likely won't want to miss these battles, considering the fact that each of the four possible Mega Raid bosses has a chance to result in a shiny encounter.

As always, trainers should keep in mind that additional Battle Raids may show up as surprise events come and go throughout the coming month and that there are already some surprises promised for the last week of the month. That should be just about everything players know about the upcoming month, but we should learn more about other upcoming events during the opening days of the Season of GO.
