Throughout 2021, Pokemon GO has kept players busy with a steady flow of new Pokemon, updates, events, and other changes to the game. This month marked the start of the game's newest season, The Season of Discovery, including the annual Summer solstice event featuring Solrock and Lunatone, as well as giving players the chance to obtain Shiny Regigigas in Pokemon GO for the first time.

Now, Niantic has outlined new updates and events that players can expect to see in Pokemon GO throughout the month of July.
