Most Pokemon GO players spent today hunting down shiny Torchic thanks to the May Community Day event, but that isn't the only exciting thing going on in the world of the mobile AR game this weekend. The release of the new lure modules introduces a few long-awaited evolutions into the game, including Probopass.

A lot of trainers are likely most focused on collecting the new Eevee evolutions using the Lure Modules, but those aren't the only new Pokedex entries to register in Pokemon GO. Nosepass isn't the most exciting Pokemon to the average player, but the whole community is still likely excited to get a new Pokedex entry and finally upgrade to Probopass.

Evolving Nosepass into Probopass isn't that difficult, but it does require you (or a nearby player) to use the new magnetic Lure Module. Once that has been acquired and applied to a nearby stop, it's pretty simple.

pokemon go does the name trick work for glaceon and leafeon

How To Evolve Nosepass into Probopass

  • Acquire a magnetic Lure Module - The quickest way to pick up one of these is to spend coins on it in the store. You can also just coordinate with a nearby friend who already has one.
  • Apply the Lure Module to a Pokestop (or have a friend do it).
  • As long as you're within range to spin the Pokestop, you should have the option to evolve Nosepass (assuming you have enough Candy).

That's all there is to it. This is a pretty simple trick and works just like evolving Glaceon, Leafeon, or Magnezone. It will be very exciting to follow the meta game for the next few weeks and see how these four new powerful Pokemon impact both the PvE and PvP scene.

Be sure to check back in the coming days for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
