Pokemon GO players who aren't busy hunting down the latest Legendary Battle Raid boss are likely trying to collect or hatch the rest of the newly released creatures. The recent Flying- and Dragon- additions to the game have offered players the chance to catch a new batch of Gen-3 monsters. For players who still haven't completed their collection of Castforms, we've some easy tips to address that situation.

Pokemon GO's Castform has four different forms and each form has a different type. Castform starts out as a Normal-type, but can become something more interesting based on the weather. The Sunny Form is a Fire-type, the Rainy Form is a Water-type, and the Snowy Form is an Ice-type.

To collect each of the four different forms, Pokemon GO players simply need to head out and hunt for each different form during the corresponding weather patterns. Here's how they break down:

Normal Form

The Normal-type can spawn during Cloudy Weather or Partly Cloudy Weather.

Sunny Form

The Fire-type can spawn in Sunny Weather, Clear Weather, or Windy Weather.

Rainy Form

The Water-type can only spawn in Rainy Weather.

Snowy Form

The Ice-type can spawn in both Snowy Weather or Foggy Weather.

Remember to keep in mind that once Castform has spawned, the creature won't change forms. That means that if Castform spawns while it is cloudy and then it starts to snow, the spawned instanced of Castform won't transform into the Ice-type.

That's all there is to it. Keep an eye on the weather and go catch 'em all. Good luck out there, trainers!

Pokemon GO is available now in select regions on Android and iOS devices.
