Pokemon GO has new raid bosses to go along with the current events happening in-game. Some of these raid bosses are Pokemon that are normally not available outside certain real-world locations. Because of this, now is the perfect time to challenge and attempt their capture before they once again disappear.
One of the raid bosses normally not available globally in Pokemon GO is Heracross. This Pokemon normally only appears in South America, Latin America, Southern Florida, and Texas, causing it to be limited to a specific section of Pokemon GO's player base.

Heracross will only be serving as a three star raid boss until August 20th at 10:00 AM in players' local times. Players outside of this Pokemon's normal spawn areas are highly recommended to challenge this Pokemon before this opportunity ends.
Heracross Types, Weaknesses, and Resistances
Looking at its typing, Heracross is a dual Bug and Fighting-type Pokemon. This makes it vulnerable to Flying, Fairy, Psychic, and Fire-type moves. It also resists damage from Ground, Bug, Fighting, Grass, and Dark-type moves. Of all of Heracross's weaknesses, Flying is its biggest one, as it is effective against both Bug and Fighting-type Pokemon.
