Now that raiding is a definitive part of the Pokemon GO experience, dedicated fans who participate daily may struggle from time to time with keeping their potion levels high. Thankfully, players on the game's official subreddit have come up with a solution, even if it's not an ideal fix just yet.

After user StormHH analyzed a total of 26 Pokestops and came out of the experience with two normal Potions and one Super Potion, they decided to find another way of taking on raids while conserving their precious supplies. To do this, the Pokemon GO fan began to evolve some of their 100 or so daily catches into more powerful forms.

As it turns out, spending a little time evolving creatures such as Paras or Pidgeotto into their stronger evolutions will leave players with a reasonably strong fighter, and saves on trainers having to use their most powerful Pokemon in battle. Best of all, once these teams of new Pokemon have been exhausted from combat, the player can simply transfer the creature in exchange for additional candy.

Of course, with this method, trainers will be earning less candy over time, but the lack of potion-usage might prove worthwhile as the player saves their strongest Pokemon for the hardest raids in Pokemon GO. It also adds a little variation to the popular mobile title's gameplay which is certainly needed in order to keep fans interested.

Other fans commenting on StormHH's idea have pointed out that this system isn't quite as fun as using the Pokemon they have carefully raised over time. Several users argue that it's Niantic's job as the developer to make changes to the game that will fix the lack of healing items, rather than making its fanbase find a workaround. Even with the new secretly buffed raid rewards, it seems that healing items are simply too rare to come by at this point.

Another issue that the developer certainly needs to fix fast is the current lack of anti-cheat in Pokemon GO, thanks to a recent iOS update from Apple. The AR game already suffers from an abundance of Pokemon GO spoofers and, with the anti-cheating measures currently disabled, the game is even more at risk of being targeted than usual.

Pokemon GO is out now for Android and iOS devices.
