Pokemon GO has seen a massive surge in revenue amid the coronavirus pandemic. Luckily for those who have picked the game back up again, Niantic just Tweeted that players can get an awesome deal on some amazing Pokeballs.

Pokemon GO has been keeping up with the times, altering the way players can enjoy the game to keep up with the way COVID-19 has changed the world. It recently changed its Twitter bio to reflect these changes, promoting fun Pokemon catching while spending more time indoors instead of outside. These changes and updates have caused a surge in players returning to the game, and Niantic seems keen to keep those players happy.

From now until April 6th, 2020 at 1PM, Pokemon GO players can get 50 Great Balls for just one Pokecoin. Considering 100 Pokecoins is $0.99 or about 10 minutes of gameplay, that's almost free 50 Great Balls just for playing. It's a great way for Niantic to keep players engaged with the game during a difficult time.

This is a great deal for players who still have the GO fever. Just be careful; it looks like at least one person has been arrested breaking quarantine to play Pokemon GO during a Coronavirus Lockdown.
