Just recently, the game developer Niantic officially announced its decision to add another wave of new Gen 3 creatures to the popular mobile augmented reality game, Pokemon GO, with most of the Pocket Monsters being Flying- and Dragon-types. While some of the new additions have already been advertised, there are some who have yet to be disclosed. However, a recent datamine of the title's server has now revealed a list of all of the new Gen 3 Pokemon.

According to the aforementioned Pokemon GO datamine, Niantic has now added the new 3D assets of 21 different creatures in total for the augmented reality game, which is an indication that they will be on their way relatively soon. So, for those would-be trainers champing at the bit to find out which new Gen 3 Pokemon are set for inclusion today, follow along with the list below to determine which are making their way into the ARG:

  • Rayquaza

Pokemon Go Moveset - Gen 3 flying dragon

Naturally, until Niantic officially confirms that these are going to definitively be all of the new Gen 3 creatures coming to Pokemon GO, it's important to maintain a healthy bit of skepticism. Nevertheless, considering previous datamine successes, it's quite likely that these are the fresh Pokemon on the way, and one could even surmise that at least two of these Pocket Monsters will be split up as regional-exclusives. As it so happens, players have previously speculated that Illumise and Volbeat will be split up, as the two are "related," much like the way the pairs of Plusle and Minun and Seviper and Zangoose were.

Taking all of this into account, there's no doubt that Pokemon GO fans are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the new Gen 3 Pokemon and are ready to try and catch 'em all. While Niantic has yet to confirm exactly when they will make their way into PoGO today, if the addition of previous waves are any indication, then the new Gen 3 creatures should become available at some point in the afternoon.

Pokemon GO is available now for Android and iOS devices.
