For a while now, Pokemon GO players have been able to encounter all forms of non-Legendary Gen 1 and Gen 2 Pokemon in the wild. That means that although it's exciting and uncommon to bump into a wild Charizard or Blastoise in the wild; it's not unheard of. That hasn't been the case for more Gen 3 final evolutions so far, but that seems to have changed with the latest spawn rotation.

The evolutions have previously been available through Battle Raids or the old fashion way of spending Candy and Stardust to evolve Pokemon, this this is the first time many of these Pokemon are appearing in the wild. There hasn't been an official confirmation of the Pokemon GO change from Niantic, but users across the world are reporting sightings of some very exciting Gen 3 creatures in the wild.

The new reports and screenshots seem to confirm a lengthly list of evolved Gen 3 Pokemon in the wild. The list doesn't include every final evolution non-Legendary Gen 3 Pokemon, but keep in mind that reports are still coming in. The final list is likely to change as more data points arrive...

Sceptile

Blaziken

Swampert

Aggron

Salamence

Slaking

Ludicolo

Exploud

Shiftry

Manectric

Flygon

Even without the inclusion of any Legendary creatures, this list is still very exciting for the Pokemon GO metagame. Most of these Pokemon don't break into the PvE A-list very often, but they'll be incredibly useful for certain tiers of PvP battling. Most players likely already have at least one of each of these for their Pokedex completion goals, but if not, this could also be an excellent opportunity to pick some of these up without spending a ton of Candy on evolutions.

Be sure to check back closer to the start of the event for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, details, and news. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
