Pokemon GO has confirmed the dates and locations for Pokemon GO Fest 2023. Pokemon GO always has several events going on, but in the game's annual events calendar, one of the most anticipated is the Pokemon GO Fest.

Niantic had a big challenge during the pandemic to keep Pokemon GO relevant in such a complicated time. This included changes to the Pokemon GO Fest, with the 2020 and 2021 editions adapted for the virtual format. This way players could attend the event remotely and stay safely at home. As the world returned to normality, Pokemon GO also followed suit. The Pokemon GO Fest 2022 was then announced, being the first in-person edition of the event since 2019.

In Osaka, the Park Experience will be from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. JST, and the City Experience from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. JST. The second Pokemon GO Fest weekend will take place in New York City, U.S. on August 18, 19, and 20. In addition to the in-person events, Pokemon GO Fest 2023 will have a worldwide event on August 26 and 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time. While Niantic announced the festival and gave details about tickets and their benefits, it did not reveal what players can expect from Pokemon GO Fest 2023. The Pokemon GO community has been busy recently, and the return of Pokemon GO Fest got positive feedback. With that, players are speculating whether there might be any tie-in events to Pokemon GO Fest. With so much content to explore, it's an opportune moment to play Pokemon GO.
