It's Fashion Week in Pokemon GO, which adds stylish variations of certain Pokemon to the ever-popular mobile title. These pretty variants can spawn in the wild, but completing timed and Field Research tasks can guarantee encounters.

Special Field Research tasks can be picked up by spinning Pokestops between September 21 and September 28. Players must have a free slot available to obtain the task, and the same task can't be picked up from the same Pokestop more than once a day. Trainers also shouldn't forget to complete the new Finding Your Voice Special Research tasks to unlock an encounter with the Mythical Meloetta.

All Fashion Week Field Research Tasks and Rewards in Pokemon GO

Sneasel

Blitzle and Sneasel have the chance to be shiny, so trainers should keep picking up their Field Research if they want to try for a very rare shiny encounter. Blitzle is a new addition to the Pokemon GO roster and will still be catchable after the Fashion Week event. However, it will be a very unlikely spawn.

Furfrou is another new Pokemon and has the unique ability to change Trims. This means trainers only need to catch 1 to unlock their preferred Furfrou style type. Changing a Furfrou from one Trim to any of its ten variations will cost 25 Furfrou Candy and 10,000 Stardust. However, there are some regional requirements to unlocking some of the Trims, with three available globally.

To help trainers make Nice, Great, and Curveball throws, they should attempt the tasks on a Pokemon with a large catch circle. It makes lining up a throw a lot easier and should help clear the research tasks quicker. Activating an Incense or using Pokemon GO Lure Modules is also a great way to spawn as many Pokemon as possible, giving trainers more chances to achieve the required throws.

Fashion Week and its associated research will end at 8 pm local time on September 28, but the Season of Mischief in Pokemon GO is still ongoing. Its best features include double Lure Module duration, increased Incense effectiveness, and guaranteed Gifts from spinning Pokestops.

Pokemon GO is available now on Android and iOS devices.
