Although Pokemon GO hasn't officially announced any release date for the first wave of Gen 4 monsters, the community is already busy preparing for the inevitable. Players need to stock up on the correct candy before the launch begins, so that they are ready to fill out their Pokedex with as many of the new Pokemon GO evolutions as possible when they arrive.

Last week, Pokemon GO released a celebratory image for its two year anniversary and among the Pokemon were the Gen 4 starters. This led to lots of speculation by the community and players seem convinced that the first Gen 4 wave must be right around the corner.

To help prepare for the inevitable release, players should start confirming that they have enough candy saved up for the incoming evolutions. As usual, the Pokemon GO community of players is on the ball and has created a helpful image to prepare trainers for the upcoming Pokedex entries.

It should be noted that these evolution costs have not been confirmed by Niantic and are predictions based on the previous pattern of candy required. The estimates seem like a safe bet, or at the very least, a good place to start. There are already rumors that the two Eevee evolutions will arrive during the Community Day weekend in August, but that hasn't been confirmed at this point.

We'll be sure to post an update as soon as Gen 4 begins rolling out, so check back often in the coming weeks and months for the latest Pokemon GO news and guides.

Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
