After revealing its existence just weeks ago, Nintendo today had more to share regarding the upcoming Switch titles Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eeevee. In addition to providing more battle details, the Nintendo Treehouse looked at the functionality of Go Park in detail and how the game will handle transfers of Pokemon between mobile game Pokemon GO and Pokemon Let's Go.

Gamers will be able to freely transfer Pokemon from Pokemon GO to the Go Park in Pokemon Let's Go order to be captured again in that game. In addition, players will be able to transfer Pokemon into the Switch game from any copy of Pokemon GO, so friends can also contribute Pokemon to the game. However, the Pokemon that are sent to Go Park and captured will be removed from the player's copy of Pokemon GO. As an incentive, the account that provided the Pokemon to Go Park will receive Pokemon Candy. This may explain the present sending mechanic that was previously seen in the Pokemon Let's Go trailer.

The exact amount of candy players will receive is currently unclear, but it's something to consider for avid Pokemon GO players. Clearly, transferring high-leveled Pokemon that players rely upon in order to battle at Gyms and to participate in Raids won't be something most players want to do, as they'd have to permanently surrender their Pokemon. However, most players have dozens if not hundreds of Pokemon that go unused in their collections, so it's a good way to get a wide variety of Pokemon into Let's Go Pikachu or Let's Go Eevee.

As it stands, lower level Pokemon may be a better choice to transfer to the Switch title. While demonstrating the game, Nintendo spokespersons explained that high-level Pokemon in Pokemon GO will be allegedly "a bit" more powerful in the Switch game. It seems players will mostly gain advantages from sending a wide variety of lower leveled Pokemon to Pokemon Let's Go rather than focusing on their strongest.

Pokemon GO is available now. Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee will release on November 16, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
