After a very busy GO Fest 2020 event, Pokemon GO trainers around the world managed to unlock all of the exciting Ultra Reward bonuses that were up for grabs. Things kicked off nearly a week ago with the start of Dragon Week and players have already had six days to race through the Timed Research, raid against Rayquaza, and try to hatch as many eggs as possible. All good things must come to an end though and it's almost time to move on to the next bonus event.

Each Ultra Reward event is sticking around for one full week and the time on Dragon Week expires on August 7 at 1pm PDT. This means that, as of writing this, players have just about a day and a half to continue enjoying the Dragon Week bonuses. Considering how hard it is to hatch Deino from a 7km egg, there are probably lots of Pokemon GO players who feel like they need a lot more time before moving on to the next phase of August events.

Once Dragon Week wraps up tomorrow afternoon, players will be able to immediately start enjoying the bonuses that are arriving with Enigma Week. Before that happens, make sure to finish up the Dragon Week timed research though. There should be a countdown on the Today View above those quests that explains exactly how much time players have left to complete the quests before they miss out on the opportunity to reach the end of the line and the final encounter rewards.

When does Dragon Week end?

Dragon Week will run from Friday, July 31, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. to Friday, August 7, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7).

What are the Dragon Week bonuses?

"The majestic Dragon-type Pokémon come in all shapes and sizes, from the tiny Gible to the towering Alolan Exeggutor, and this week will be their time to shine! Rayquaza will be in five-star raids, and there will also be special Timed Research available only this week. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Deino!"

Although time is running out, players should still be able to race through the Timed Research even if they're only getting started now. None of the quests require days worth of effort and the average player should be able to complete all the tasks with just a few hours of in-game time. For many players, tracking down three Rocket Grunts to defeat may be the most time consuming part. Just remember to head to an area that is densely populated with Pokestops (if that's safe) and keep for a Pokestop that looks darker than the rest.

As trainers continue working through these amazing events, they may want to keep hunting down the best Unova Pokemon in the game if improving their Battle Raid rosters and completing their Pokedex is their primary goal. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
