After announcing an incredibly exciting lineup of events to kick off the Season of Celebration, Niantic is now ready to confirm the dates of Pokemon GO's December Community Day event. As has become tradition, the December Community Day will be an event that spans the full weekend and features various exciting bonuses as players have a chance to catch a list of more than 20 popular Pokemon who have been in the spotlight over the past two years.

Trainers only need to wait one more week, because the December Community Day event is coming early on this month, on December 12 and December 13. There will be increased spawns and special raids throughout the full event, but each day will also have a window where some special bonuses are in place to provide even more motivation to login and celebrate the Pokemon GO community.

Before the event arrives next weekend, players may want to take a closer look at the laundry list of special features and timed bonuses that are coming their way to help prepare for the marathon weekend. Studying the full list of returning exclusive moves is also a good idea, so trainers can determine if their current PvE or PvP rosters need to add any of these special moves to improve considering the current PoGO metagame.
