The events in Pokemon GO have been ramped up in the Season of Mischief. Aside from some lulls with Professor Willow's season-long quest, Niantic has been keeping the in-game events coming for most of the Fall months. Data miners have uncovered some new information in Pokemon GO that points to more events and new items for them coming soon.

PokeMiners has uncovered new questlines, items, and relevant text regarding these additions that have been added to Pokemon GO. The context of what was added seems to point to some celebrations for the release of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl later this month as well as new additions to Community Day Pokemon and tasks. There also seems to be a change coming with Weather Boosted attacks, a new Special Lure box, and "Special Weekend" text for Sponsored Poke-Stops.

The biggest additions in this mining are what looks like incoming questline rewards for catching and powering up Legendary or Mythical Pokemon. The leaks don't say what the rewards are, but since these are connected to Legendary and/or Mythical Pokemon, these have to be large XP boosts and rare items like Silver Pinap berries. A new quick move will soon be introduced called "Psychic Fangs." The text for the Sinnoh Event, Sinnoh Collection Challenge, as well as clothing items have all been updated in the game's code. The text for all the costumes of the Sinnoh starters as well as clothing items worn by the player characters in the original game has also been added.

The text for the Shinx Community Day has been also added and there seems to be a new Lure Module that Professor Willow will give out on that day. Given that Shinx is an Electric-type, it can be assumed that the Lure Module will be focused on attracting other Electric-type Pokemon. The Grass, Ice, Steel, and Water types already have their respective lure modules so it's not a far reach to assume that one may be coming for the Electric-types as well. A Special Lure Box will also come to the game, probably in the store.

The rest of the post consists mostly of minor additions to the in-game text, in-game clarity to the Wayfare Poke-Stop submission function, and the naming of companies participating in sponsored stops that mostly consists of Japanese businesses, but one that is for Tully's Coffee in the Rochester, NY area.

The Sinnoh Event starts on November 16 that celebrates Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and November 18th for Pokemon Shining Pearl. It's all the same event, but the separation may pertain to version-specific Pokemon. Giovanni's return during the Season of Mischief will also run concurrently during this event.

Pokemon GO is now available for Android and iOS.
