Pokemon GO's Community Day for November 2022 will feature Teddiursa, but the big addition here is that players will be able to catch them, evolve them, and potentially get Ursaluna, the evolution introduced in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. However, if players miss this window, it's going to become much harder to obtain this Pokemon moving forward.
Pokemon GO Community Day takes place on November 12 from 2pm to 5pm local time, with the event featuring bonus catch stardust, catch candy, and XL Candy, as well as 3 hour-long Incense and Lure Modules. Players will also be able to purchase a Special Research ticket for "A Sweet Snack," while Ursaring will appear in 4-star Raid Battles from 5 pm to 10pm. Defeating it will lead to more Teddiursas spawning around that gym.
Of course, the big prize for this Pokemon GO Community Day is Ursaluna, as this form was introduced in Pokemon Legends Arceus. It's not the first Hisui Pokemon to appear in Pokemon GO, but this event is big nonetheless. This event gives Ursaluna the move High Horsepower, but it's not as simple as getting enough Candy to evolve Ursaring. Ursaring will only evolve into Ursaluna when a full moon is visible. Luckily, players can evolve Ursaring from Ursaluna from 2pm to 6am local time on November 12th and November 13th, but if players miss this window, it's going to become much harder to obtain an Ursaluna.
After this Community Day, fans will only be able to do this evolution when the full moon is visible. This means it will be obtainable for most of November and December, only becoming a Pokemon that can be received at night. It should be noted that this ties to lore regarding Ursaluna in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, where it can only evolve with a full moon, but that doesn't make the real world application much better for many folks.
It's not like Pokemon fans have nothing to keep them busy though, should they miss this and have to wait. Six days after this Community Day event, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will hit the Switch. Pokemon Legends Arceus introduced a lot of new Pokemon forms and such, but Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is said to be adding 103 New Pokemon to the game, for a full Pokedex total of 400 or so (meaning a good chunk of older Pokemon will not be available).
