The next community day for Pokemon GO will take place on March 25 and it has been announced which Pokemon will be featured for the event. That Pokemon is none other than the Gen 1 Grass-type starter, Bulbasaur.

Pokemon GO community days, for those who have not taken part, allow players to catch certain Pokemon that have moves in their arsenal that aren't normally in their repertoire of skills. There is only a three hour time frame to be able to catch these Pokemon, meaning players will need to plan accordingly to make sure they are able take part in these events. The most recent community day took place over this past weekend and featured Dratini.

While there was no mention of what exclusive moves the Community Day specific Bulbasaurs will have, it will more than likely be revealed closer to March 25. The event may also bring with it higher chances at catching shiny versions of Bulbasaur and all its evolutions, as there was with the previous Community Days that featured Pikachu and Dratini.

Pokemon Yellow Bulbasaur

This will mark the third Community Day for Pokemon GO this year. The events were first introduced earlier this year as a way to bring the game's community together again and the previous two have been popular with fans of the game. The times of the event will remain the same from the prior two, with it being available in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India from 10 am to 1 pm UK or GMT. North America, South America and Greenland can participate from 11 am to 2 pm PST. Finally, the Asia Pacific Region will be able to take part in it from 12pm to 3pm JST.

Not only did Bulbasaur get some love being featured in the next Community Day, there is also a special Snapchat filter of the leafy dinosaur users of the social media app will be able to take advantage of. The filter will be available on February 27 in honor of Pokemon Day, which celebrates the date the original games were released in Japan all the way back in 1996.

Pokemon GO is now available for Android and iOS.
