The wait is finally over and Pokemon GO players can now begin their next big adventure. As expected, Professor Willow showed up this afternoon to offer a new series of tasks to trainers and send them on their way towards a mythical encounter with Celebi.

Pokemon GO players are likely rushing out to meet up with friends and complete as many of the tasks as possible tonight and throughout the rest of the week. Some players will inevitably complete the whole chain of quests in just a day or two while others will take months or more to finish.

Hopefully players have already spent the last few weeks preparing for the Celebi tasks, but if not, that's no worry. The great thing about the Pokemon GO story quests is that they can be completed at any pace. Celebi isn't going to be a particularly important Pokemon to the metagame, so players don't have a big motivation to rush through the tasks unless they just want the Pokedex entry in a hurry.

Much like during the Mew quests, it seems like players are rewarded with some serious goods at milestones throughout the journey. These will be a welcome treat for players who no longer get the frequent rewards that came from leveling up early in the game.
