Pokemon GO players recently participated in the Seedot Community Day event, giving them the chance to catch plenty of shiny variants and add Seedot's fully evolved form, Shiftry, to their collection. Now that Pokemon GO players have Shiftry and plenty of candy to power it up, they may be wondering what the best moves are for the Pokemon when fighting other trainers in the Battle League PvP mode.

The best moveset for Shiftry in Pokemon GO for PvP is Snarl for the quick attack and Leaf Blade for the charged attack. A Shiftry with Snarl and Leaf Blade will deal out more damage than a Shiftry with any other move combination, making it particularly useful in PvP. However, having a Shiftry in Pokemon GO that knows Snarl and Leaf Blade is useful for other purposes in the game besides just PvP.

Not only can Pokemon GO players utilize this Shiftry moveset to dominate in the Battle League PvP, but it can also be used to win raids, fight Team Rocket grunts, and take over Pokemon Gyms. A Shiftry that knows Snarl and Leaf Blade will deal significant damage and is a decent option for any Pokemon GO players that are looking to take over Gyms as fast as possible.

Looking ahead, it's likely that upcoming Pokemon GO Community Day events will feature more Pokemon that will be useful for battling in the game. In fact, many Pokemon GO players voted for Weedle Community Day to take place in June so that they can get a Beedrill with Drill Run for their collection, as it could be especially helpful in PvP. Of course, Pokemon GO players also want to get a shiny Beedrill for their collection, but that's just a bonus.

In the meantime, there are other Pokemon GO events for fans of the popular augmented reality mobile game to look forward to. Right now the game is in the midst of its Throwback Challenge 2020: Sinnoh event, and next week will see the release of new Special Research, along with the debut of many Galarian Pokemon.

It's likely that Pokemon GO has even more content up its sleeve for later this summer. The game's anniversary is coming up in July, and one has to imagine that Niantic has big things planned.

Pokemon GO is out now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
