With the Bulbasaur Community Day behind us, Pokemon GO fans have been wondering which Pokemon will be featured next. Niantic has announced that the next Community Day will take place on April 15, with Mareep as the featured Pokemon.

Like previous Pokemon GO Community Days, the Mareep Community Day will take place from 1pm central time to 4pm. During the event, players will have the opportunity to catch a shiny Mareep, which will likely be pink. Mareep will be able to evolve into an Ampharos with a special move, though what that move is has yet to be revealed.

Pokemon GO fans participating in Mareep Community Day will also have some other bonuses to look forward to. For example, lures will last three hours during the event, and eggs will require 1/4th the usual walking distance to hatch. So not only will players be able to catch a lot of Mareeps, but they should also be able to hatch a lot of eggs while they're out and about.

If the Mareep Community Day is anything like past Pokemon GO Community Days, fans should learn about the special move about a week before the event takes place. That means more information could come as early as next week, since the Mareep Community Day is taking place on April 15 instead of the end of the month.

As for what that move may be, it's hard to say. However, since Ampharos is an electric-type Pokemon, one has to imagine that the move will be an electric-type attack of some kind.

Whatever the special move is for Ampharos, fans should find out within the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, anyone hoping to catch a lot of Mareeps on April 15 should make sure that they are properly stocked up on Pokeballs and the like, so PokeStop visits may be in order.

Pokemon GO is available now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
