Pokemon GO fans are about to enter the most exciting time of the year as spring approaches and the weather warms up. There have been plenty of events over the winter months, but the outdoor-heavy mobile AR game is definitely a lot more enjoyable when there isn't snow on the ground. The combination of warmer weather and a very popular Pokemon are going to make the March Community Day one of the most popular to date.

Some vague tweets from the official Pokemon GO account earlier this week led players to believe that the March event would put a spotlight on Abra and new files uploaded to the game's master code seem to confirm that theory. Pokemon GO Community Day hint

First off, the new files included the Abra-themed quests for the upcoming Community Day. In addition to that, the files suggest that the event is going to take place on March 15. Keep in mind that the date is not official yet, but it might be a good idea to mark your calendars now just to play it safe. In a surprise twist, it turns out Community Day isn't the only event that is going to be active on March 15, though...

The game files went on to reveal two new ticketed events: Investigating Illusions and A Drive to Investigate. The first event is scheduled for March 15, so it will be interesting to see if it relates to Community Day at all. Perhaps there will be requirements to catch Psychic-types or a certain number of Abras. The follow up event will take place on March 22 according to the master files. At this point, no other details about the ticketed events have been unearthed.

For now, players may want to keep hunting down the best Unova Pokemon in the game if improving their Battle Raid rosters is their primary goal. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
