The big Gen 4 update is here, but Pokemon GO players are still working out exactly what that means. Niantic announced that Gen 4 is rolling out in waves, so the community is currently crowdsourcing information to figure out everything that is included in this first wave.

As Pokemon GO players explore their local parks and nests today, the information continues to stream in. So far, the community seems to have confirmed at least 20 new Pokemon from the Sinnoh region that are appearing in the wild. Here's a look at all of the Gen 4 creatures who are confirmed for Wave 1 so far...

That list offers plenty of new Pokemon for gamers to track down and collect in the coming days. We don't have any idea how long it will be until Wave 2 arrives, but hopefully this list offers enough challenge to keep the community engaged until that point. It seems like a safe bet that the Halloween event may include some Gen 4 ghosts.
