Pokemon GO fans have been wondering how an Eevee Community Day might work since the monthly events started and it sounds like we're about to find out. Pokemon GO has confirmed that there will be not one, but two Eevee Community Day events during an upcoming weekend in August.

Pokemon GO's August Community Day event will be a two day spectacular. The events will take place on August 11 and 12, from 2-5pm ET each day. In addition to increased spawn rates for Eevee, Niantic has also confirmed a 3x Stardust bonus during the event.

Here's a look at the official announcement...

The obvious big question about Eevee Community Day is if the event will impact Eevee's evolutions. At this point there hasn't been any confirmation about what the special move will be for the day or if the event will control which version Eevee evolved into.

The Pokemon GO community is already buzzing with excitement about the possibilities of shiny version of all of the Eevee evolutions, so this is sure to be a very popular event. The fact that it spans two days is also sure to add to the hype train. This means players who may be working one of the two afternoons can still find a way to get in on the fun.

Check back in the coming weeks as we learn more details about the Eevee Community Day weekend. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
