A talented Pokemon fan made a fusion art combining Sharpedo and Dhelmise and got a unique result. Pokemon has many designs that inspire debates among fans about their favorite Pokemon, and the less popular ones. The more than 1,000 Pokemon also serve daily as inspiration for creating many different types of fan art.

One type of fan art that is quite popular among Pokemon fans is known as "Pokefusions." To create a fusion between two different Pokemon fans usually turn to websites like the well-known Pokemon Fusion Generator. For fans who have artistic talent, another way to create Pokemon fusions is by making drawings that often become internet hits. Regardless of how Pokemon fusions are created, they always generate unique results. Pokemon fusions draw attention by creating curious, sometimes funny, and well-thought-out combinations.

User HoundoomKaboom shared on Reddit an impressive fan art combining Sharpedo and Dhelmise. Sharpedo is a Water/Dark-type Pokemon that in one of its Pokedex entries is called "bully of the sea." Its design is of a torpedo-shaped shark Pokemon with large fangs. Dhelmise, meanwhile, is a Ghost/Grass-type Pokemon that does not evolve into any or from any other Pokemon. Its design is a curious combination between an anchor and a ship's wheel held together by a mass of green seaweed. Pokemon has creepy lore examples, and the fan art made by HoundoomKaboom is a good example of this kind of idea.

The fusion Sharpedo and Dhelmise fusion was created by HoundoomKaboom in Microsoft Paint, software that the user uses to make their other Pokefusions. One of the comments on the Reddit post suggested Rusted Fin as the fusion name, along with the Water/Ghost-type. Meanwhile, another Reddit user pointed out the resemblance to a zombie. There are several very interesting Ghost-type Pokemon, and little monsters like Paras and Parasect whose backgrounds make fans consider these Pokemon to be zombies. Despite this, there is no zombie Pokemon yet, a gap that HoundoomKaboom's fan art would help fill.

Sometimes Pokemon fans debate about Pokemon that are considered too simple as happened with Flamigo, a Pokemon accused of being just a flamingo. The Pokemon community itself offers the solution with its immense creativity, showing unofficial ideas that would have a great chance of becoming official. One example is the unique fusion created by HoundoomKaboom, which turns Sharpedo and Dhelmise into interesting Pokemon. This Pokemon would even be a good addition to Pokemon's ocean lore, which already has iconic Pokemon like Kyogre, Feebas, and Lapras.
