Nintendo released Pokemon Legend: Arceus last month and Pokemon fans have been sparked with more creativity as a new lineup of Pokemon graces the Switch. One Pokemon fan has decided to take the popular Dragon-type Pokemon Goodra and recreate it as a hybrid Fire and Dragon-type.

Reddit user Mutant_jay recently posted their interpretation of what a Fire and Dragon-Type Goodra would look like. The Pokemon Legends: Arceus fan imagined the Pokemon in an action pose, as well as a rested position which is often seen just after the initial animation from being released from a Poke Ball. Although it shares some similarities with the original Goodra, the Fire-type variant is quite different in many ways both rested and while moving.

The standard Goodra is a pseudo Legendary Pokemon that was originally introduced to the series during Generation 6, Pokemon X and Y. The powerful Dragon-type evolves from Sliggoo which is located around Obsidian Fieldlands or Coronet Highlands in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Pokemon fans will also be able to find Goodra in the same area, while the base version Goomy can be located in the Crimson Mirelands or Coronet Highlands. This makes the Coronet Highlands the ideal place for Pokemon Legends: Arceus fans to catch the Sliggoo evolution line.

Mutant_jay's version of Goodra differs from Ash's Pokemon as it's yellow, orange, and red like many other Fire-type Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. The original look for Goodra blends purple, pink, and green together to create a unique Dragon aesthetic compared to others that look more like mythological dragons such as Rayquaza or Dragonair. The Fire-type Goodra created by Mutant_jay shares more of its color scheme with Pokemon like Charmander, Magmar, and Combusken than the standard Goodra.

The Fire-type adaptation of Goodra made by Mutant_jay has a similar stature and build to the one found in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, with a slight slouch and smirking face when standing still. Rather than fire crackling from Goodra's skin or certain pours of its body, Mutant_jay's Fire-type Goodra seemingly drips with magma like Magcargo, Slugma, or Mega Camerupt from Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. While it's resting, Mutant_jay's Goodra shares some likeness with other cartoon dragons, and when it's in action, the Goodra takes on a serious tone.

According to Mutant_jay, the Fire-type Goodra has increased speed stats, suggesting that it would have a decrease in other Pokemon Legends: Arceus stats like Attack, Special Defense, or HP. Previous Pokemon titles allowed players to increase the stats of their Pokemon, and that's no different with Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Players can increase a Pokemon's stats by using items like Dust, Gravel, Pebbles, and Rocks where before fans would've used Calcium, Iron, and Protein.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus is available now for Nintendo Switch.
