Eevee is one of the most popular Pokemon in the franchise due to its adorable design and unique evolutions. Eevee's evolutions have the ability to be completely different from the Normal-type's first form, and can range from the pure Fire-type Flareon to the newest Eevee evolution Sylveon, a Fairy-type. One fan has taken it on themself to create new designs for Pokemon types that don't have an official Eevee evolution yet.

Eevees are special Pokemon that have an unstable genetic code, which means that the Normal-type doesn't evolve into another Normal-type variation. Instead, it can transform into a different single type of Pokemon. Currently, there are eight different types of Eevee evolutions: fire, water, electric, dark, psychic, ice, grass, and fairy. Pokemon fans are excited to see what new Eevee evolutions of different types will look like when they are revealed, and one fan decided to step up to the challenge.

A Reddit user by the name PTickles has taken on the challenge to design Eevee evolutions for types that haven't yet been created. One of the latest in this series is a concept for a Ghost-type evolved form of Eevee. The creator dubbed this evolution as Omeon, which they explained in the comment section was based on western ideas of black cats and the Bakaneko, a mythical Japanese ghost cat. PTickles gave Omeon the ability Cursed Body, which has a 30% chance of disabling a move that damages it. In the creator's mind, Eevee would evolve into Omeon when leveling up at night while holding an Ectoplasm.

This is not the fan's first creation for the Eevee evolution lineup. PTickles started with Champeon, a Fighting-type Eevee evolution. The artist also made Guardeon, a Steel-type. After that, the fan created Lepideon, a Bug-type. Along with these four concepts, the fan designed a Rock-type by the name Obsideon.

Pokemon fans are eager to see new evolutions of the popular fox-like creature. With new content coming up with the Crown Tundra DLC for Pokemon Sword and Shield, there is always hope that Game Freak will include an addition to this well-loved evolution group.
