Many fans have created animations based off of the Pokemon series. The videos range from funny and cute animations of Pokemon to pieces showing off aspects of the game's world.

One Pokemon in particular that receives a lot of love is Chimecho. The Psychic-Type was first featured in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire and evolves from Chingling when leveled up with high friendship at night. The pocket monster made a number of appearances throughout the Pokemon anime, with James from Team Rocket owning one in the series for some time. The Pokemon has inspired a lot of fan art, with one artist making an animation of Chimecho.

A Redditor going by the handle GoddessCalamity shared a clip that they made of a Chimecho that is hanging in the forest. The Pokemon animation is relaxing as the Chimecho slowly sways back and forth. The Pokemon was animated realistically, with its body giving off an impressive shine and its cloth looking beautifully sewn. The only sound in the video is the chime that the Chimecho makes as its body slowly moves. The video is short, but makes for good ambient sound.

GoddessCalamity's Chimecho animation has garnered a number of fans. Many love the calming nature of the animation, with fans speaking of their love for the Pokemon. Many ask for an extended version of GoddessCalamity's work, mentioning they would like a version that plays for hours. Some state that they now want an actual Chimecho chime, saying that they would buy one if it existed. A few fans also complimented the artist on how adorable the pocket monster is, with a number of commenters enjoying the realistic look that GoddessCalamity employed. The Pokemon animation is quite cute, and watching it play out is a nice way to relax.

GoddessCalamity is not the only one creating realistic animations based off of the Pokemon world. An artist going by the name Revival created a short piece that shows a Poke Ball being created for capturing Pokemon. In the video, mechanical arms lay down the pieces of the ball on a stand including the iconic red top and white button in the middle. A large buffer then comes down and polishes the Poke Ball to a shiny finish, with a hand then coming onscreen and taking the ball. A Great Ball and Ultra Ball can also be seen in the background of the animation, helping form the main trio of Balls that trainers use in order to capture Pokemon. The works of GoddessCalamity and Revival are both short, but also incredibly satisfying.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will release in 2022 for Nintendo Switch.
