Whether it be one of the starters or just a creature they pick up on Victory Road, players of the Pokemon games have plenty of options to choose from during a playthrough. These Pokemon have often become the focus of fan recreations such as fusions and models. In the latest display of this player creativity, one Pokemon fan recreated Beldum in LEGO form.

Beldum is a Steel/Psychic dual type Pokemon that was introduced in Pokemon’s third generation. Beldum evolves into Metang at level 20, which evolves again at level 45 into Metagross, one of the best Psychic type Pokemon. There isn’t an official LEGO representation for Beldum at the moment, and this is therefore a fan-made design.

This impressive representation of Beldum was created by Reddit user pbowd19, and it is a perfect match for the original look players see in the games. In a series of photos, they show this LEGO Beldum on a labeled stand. The creator used dozens and dozens of different sizes of LEGO bricks to make this build complete and managed to match the blue, silver, black, and red perfectly. The design even includes the tiny white spot in Beldum’s red eye as well as the three prongs that stick out from this Pokemon’s base. The stand is also made up of LEGO bricks and even includes the Pokemon logo as well as Beldum's name.

This Beldum design is an incredible match of the original Pokemon and pbowd19 mention the exact location they got instructions for this build. Apparently, this is a My Own Creation (MOC) design that was created in Stud.io, a free digital LEGO construction program. The builder just needed to track down the instructions and acquire the bricks in order to make this Beldum become a reality. Similar to other Pokemon LEGO builds, this must have taken quite a long time to assemble, however.

While fan designs such as this Beldum are impressive, they point out a clear need for a larger collaboration between Pokemon and LEGO. While the two franchises have worked on previous projects, the world of Pokemon has so many opportunities that LEGO could recreate with ease.

Then again, this void has been relatively successfully filled by fans of both franchises. The designs that have been created and used by Pokemon fans are usually just as impressive as this Beldum but don’t come with the costs that may be associated with an official collaboration. Either way, this Pokemon fan made a great recreation of Beldum through LEGO.
