While some gamers may find it difficult to believe, the next generation of Pokemon games is only a little over three months away. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will be released this November, ushering in Generation 9 of the Pokemon series. Throughout its history, the Pokemon franchise has introduced over 900 different pocket monsters, and many more are expected to be introduced in November when the game launches.

Pokemon fans love to create their own versions of their favorite pocket monster, and some pieces of fan art get very popular. Recently, a fan created their evolved version of Sprigatito, a Grass-type starter Pokemon, while another creative Reddit user designed a fused version of Lechonk, a Normal-type Pokemon, and Sprigatito that they named "Pigatito."

A Redditor named P_SciJ created their own versions of Samurott, a Gen 5 quadrupedal Water-type Pokemon, and Incineroar, a Gen 7 bipedal Fire-type Pokemon. In this fan art, the original poster has depicted Samurott as a bipedal Pokemon and Incineroar as a quadrupedal Pokemon. The original post is trending on Reddit and has more than 20 thousand upvotes. This fanart has sparked a fiery conversation in the comment section, which has more than 600 comments.

Pokemon fans had very interesting views on the post; some fans loved P_SciJ's creations, while some were very disappointed. The first comment on the thread was by a disgruntled Redditor named Im_Not_Humourous, who commented, "Look how they massacred my boys," and expressed their discontent. While others wrote, "By the gods, please, kill it with fire," and," KILL IT. KILL IT NOW! BEFORE IT DESIRES TO FEED." Some users liked one of the two creations while they disapproved of the other. Fans even gave these creations their own names. A fan with Reddit handle xEmnas09 named the creations "Incinerott" and "Samuroar," while others used terms such as "Sameroar" and "Incineraut."

Amongst all these comments, a user named RJS_but_on_Reddit, who is eagerly waiting for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's launch, tried to justify why the original versions of Samurott and Incineroar are better. They justify Samurott being a quadrupedal Pokemon by arguing that, as Samurott carries two giant swords in the shell scabbards on its front legs, it had to start crawling to withstand their combined weight. They believe that wielding two giant swords in its arms would make it difficult for Samurott to stand for long durations.

And they also think that a bipedal Incineroar makes much more sense than a quadrupedal Incineroar. As Incineroar is a Dark/Fire-type Pokemon inspired by wrestlers, they argue that wrestling is an exclusively two-legged sport, and wrestlers fighting on all fours does not make much sense.
