A user on Reddit going by the username “miscellaneousmao” posted a picture of their creation on the r/gaming subreddit. The post has skyrocketed in attention, already gathering over 12,000 upvotes in just one day. Additionally, the comments on the post are filled with admiration of miscellaneousmao’s impressive Pokemon-themed dessert, praising the pie’s various details including the added cornucopia and harvest vegetables.
Though Eevee now seems to be considered on par with Pikachu in terms of popularity, that wasn’t always the case. For most of the Pokemon franchise's life, Eevee was just an interesting first generation Pokemon with numerous evolution lines centering around different Pokemon types. It feels like Eevee’s popularity really exploded after the Switch’s Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee version was released, with Eevee sharing an role equal to the size of the Pokemon franchise's mascot, Pikachu. Since then, Eevee has been even more heavily featured in a plethora of official Pokemon merchandise and material.
Still, Eevee has always featured prominently in Pokemon titles, especially when a brand new Eeveelution is introduced in a given generation. In Pokemon Sword and Shield, players could find every Eeveeolution in one area, making it one of the easiest titles for players to actually capture and raise every single one of Eevee’s forms.
