With the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, many have turned to online shopping as retail businesses like GameStop close their brick and mortar stores. The Pokemon Company has helped facilitate this safe social distancing practice by making all product shipping from the Pokemon Center store to the United States free for a limited time.
This free shipping was announced on the official Pokemon Twitter account Wednesday, however, no details are given as to when the offer will end. Typically the online storefront only offers free shipping for orders over $50, otherwise, it costs $4.99 per order with an additional $0.99 charge for each item.
The Pokemon Center store sells a variety of collectible items for fans of the long-running series, including plushies, office supplies, clothing, and gear for the Pokemon Trading Card Game, with some new items as of this writing including card tins based on Pokemon from the Galar Region. However, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX plushies are Japan-exclusive.
For fans who don't find binge shopping to be their ideal self-quarantine activity of the day, the full Pokemon Black & White anime is now available to watch on Pokemon TV.
