Nintendo fans have been able to customize some of their favorite Pokemon at Build-a-Bear locations since 2015, and a new Pokemon has joined the collection. Build-a-Bear has officially confirmed that the next Eeveelution that's coming to stores and online is Glaceon.
Several Pokemon have been featured at Build-a-Bear, allowing Pokemon players to decorate their favorites with various clothing and accessories. On top of the latest addition of Glaceon, Build-a-Bear's lineup of Pokemon includes Alolan Vulpix, Charmander, Gengar, Mew, and Pikachu. Eevee is already part of the Build-a-Bear catalog alongside Eeveelutions Espeon, Flareon, Jolteon, and Umbreon, which gives Pokemon fans a wide variety of Pokemon types to choose from.
Pokemon trainers are already able to order the Glaceon Build-a-Bear online, which comes with an exclusive online bundle similar to other bundles for Pokemon Build-a-Bear's such as Gengar. The exclusive bundle includes a cape, sleeper, and 5-in-1 sound for Glaceon. Once they receive Glaceon, these new Pokemon owners can then further customize their Eeveelution at a nearby Build-a-Bear location if they forgot an accompanying set of clothes and accessories at checkout. Build-a-bear enthusiasts who already have fully clothed Espeon, Umbreon, or other existing Eeveelutions should also be able to use the same clothing on Glaceon, as the stuffies are roughly the same size and shape.
Build-a-Bear is currently in the midst of a Pokemon stuffy sale, making several already released Pokemon stuffies 25% off. The Pokemon on sale include Pikachu and Mew. At the same time, Eevee, Espeon, and Jolteon are all part of the sale, allowing Pokemon fans to secure a few other members of the Eevee family at a reduced price. Umbreon is fittingly full price given that it's the most recent Pokemon Eeveelution to join the Build-a-Bear catalog before Glaceon's addition.
Because Build-a-Bear continues to add Eevee evolutions to its lineup of stuffed Pokemon, it's likely that the remaining ones will be added eventually as well. Considering Vaporeon has previously been available at Build-a-Bear, this leaves two more Eeveelutions to release, Leafeon and Sylveon. Upon the completion of the Eevee lineup, Pokemon fans will be able to select the same Eeveelution that they made in their favorite games or choose the one that would look best in their rooms.
Like all of the other Pokemon Build-a-Bear stuffies, this Glaceon one accurately portrays the Pokemon with significant attention to detail compared to plushies from other companies. The Pokemon stuffy can be purchased for $65 in the US or £50 in the UK, and the additional exclusive online cape and sleeper for the Pokemon compliments its light and dark blue colors. Although it's currently unclear what Pokemon will come to Build-a-Bear next, it seems like the company intends to expand upon its Pokemon lineup for the foreseeable future.
