As players explore the northside of Valor Lakefront in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl, they will come across a blonde woman that has misplaced her Suite Key. While this character will not ask fans directly for their help, it is indeed possible to solve the problem by locating the key for her. However, tracking down the Valor Lakefront Suite Key in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl can prove to be a bit difficult, and this guide is here to point players in the right direction.
Updated on March 23, 2022 by Renri Seong: On their Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl journey, players will come across the Valor Lakefront. The Lakefront is home to the Grand Lake Hotel, which holds a variety of items players can grab on their way through to Pastoria City. Speak to the nearby NPCs and one will mention having dropped her Suite Key. While the reward for finding the key isn't too impressive for some, trainers may be drawn to the other attractions in the area. The following guide has been updated to include a screencap of the exact location of the Suite Key as well as other points of interest at the Valor Lakefront.
Where to Find the Valor Lakefront Suite Key in Pokemon BDSP

To get right to it, players that are on the hunt for the Valor Lakefront Suite Key should head to the reception building that is just south of the blonde woman who has lost the key. Fans should not look for the Suite Key inside that building.
Instead, stand north of the reception building and use the Dowsing Machine. The Valor Lakefront Suite Key is a little northwest of the reception building on the path. Specifically, the Suite Key is below the stairs on the leftmost wall across from one of the blue-domed buildings.
Alternatively, check the spot circled in red in the above image to pick up the Suite Key.
Indeed, the Suite Key is a hidden object in that position, and it will be added to a Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl player’s Key Items upon collection. When that occurs, fans should return to the blonde woman and speak with her to pass along the key. This action will allow the woman to finally unlock her room and enter it, and players should make sure to follow her into the building to collect their reward.
With respect to the specifics of that reward, players that return the Suite Key to the blonde woman will receive a Lava Cookie for their efforts. This medicinal item cures a Pokemon of burn, confusion, freeze paralysis, poison, and sleep, which makes it quite useful if a Pokemon is afflicted with numerous status effects. That said, players can certainly beat Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl without ever using a Lava Cookie, making this a fairly low-priority sidequest.
To note, finding a lost key is not the only thing that players can do during their time at Hotel Grand Lake. Indeed, fans can also pickup the Trick Room TM, the Coin Toss app, and more while they are in the area. It is thus recommended that players spend at least a bit of time exploring the various buildings that are around the hotel before moving onto other towns and Gym Leaders in Pokemon BDSP.
What to Do After Getting the Valor Lakefront Suite Key
Once players grab the Suite Key (or before), check out the Seven Stars Restaurant at the north of Hotel Grand Lake. This restaurant is open from 9am - 11pm in real time, so trainers will have plenty of time to battle the trainers inside. The Pokemon are around levels 20-21 and don't evolve as players advance BDSP's story. However, the customers change daily, so always be sure to stop in and see who's up for a battle. Unlike most battles in Sinnoh, the battle style in the Seven Stars Restaurant are double battles.
Trainers to note are the Rich Boy, Lady, Gentleman, and Madame. These are trainers that carry a lot of money, making this a great place to farm Poke Dollars. Players will recognize these Trainer Classes by their white outfits (Rich Boy and Lady), and their fancy, tan suits (Gentelman and Madame). The Lady and Rich Boy will give 7.560 Poke Dollars each while the Gentleman and Madame give 9,692 Poke Dollars. Remember to have the lead Pokemon hold the Amulet Coin before battling these trainers. That way, the prize money will double.
After players become Champion, they can challenge GAME FREAK'S Morimoto by the pool (far left of Grand Lake Hotel). All his Pokemon will be level 63-65. Defeating Morimoto will reward the player with 13,000 Poke Dollars. Morimoto can be challenged once a day, and his Pokemon will not level in between rematches.
Finally, make sure to return to the Valor Lakefront once HM Rock Climb is registered in the Poketch. There are many items around the Grand Lake Hotel that players won't be able to reach upon their first visit.
