Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will be released in just a month, but for some fans, they've been waiting for years. After the release of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire in 2014, fans were sure a remake of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl was next in line. Pokemon Diamond and Pearl was a popular entry in the franchise that introduced many fan-favorite Pokemon and took many gameplay features from previous entries such as a day and night cycle. Unfortunately, four years after the release of the Gen 3 remakes, due to Pokemon GO’s popularity, Game Freak decided to revisit the Gen I once again.

But finally, three years later, the remakes of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl will arrive, and although not in graphical style fans were expecting, the fact that players will be able to visit the Sinnoh region again is enough. Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will come out next month and fans can no longer contain their excitement. Many fans have taken to Reddit to share the teams they plan on forming.

Most of the Pokemon teams being formed have some obvious similarities in them such as the popular fire starter Pokemon, Infernape, and the fighting-steel Pokemon, Lucario. Although popular, Infernape could also have been picked for other reasons such as how fast it evolves. Interestingly enough though, there were a few other Pokemon that kept on making an appearance such as Porygon-Z and Gliscor. Of course, Porygon-Z is mostly likely present because of its odd design and powerful stats while Gliscor is also quite powerful, has a really cool design, and is only weak to water and ice moves.

There are also other common similarities with the Pokemon teams such as Electivire and Garchomp. Garchomp is very strong and arguably has one of the coolest designs for a Sinnoh Pokemon. Most of the Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl teams here are surprisingly well rounded with a variety of different types making up the teams.

From the teams that were listed, although it’s rather obvious that players will want to form teams based on the Sinnoh Pokedex, it's interesting to see that there aren’t many inclusions from outside the Gen 4 Pokemon. Of course, these are just Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl teams players plan on forming. Once Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are released next month, that could all change as players progress through the game.

Although fan reaction around Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl was mixed upon its first trailer primarily due to the chibi art style the game uses, recent trailers appear to have garnered more positivity for the remakes. Whether it’s the art style growing on players, or the host of other features Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will introduce, fans are excited, and they won’t have to wait much longer.
