Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl have only been out for a short while, but it seems some Pokemon trainers wasted no time getting to the end of the game. Just like in the original Pokemon Diamond and Pearl games, players make their way through Victory Road and enter the Pokemon League to do battle with the Elite Four. However, some players have noticed that there is a distracting detail on the Pokemon League floor.

The Pokemon League building has a Poke Ball design on its floor, and for some reason, the Poke Ball is not centered. This annoying oversight has caught the attention of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl players who have gone online to point it out to others. Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl players aren't happy about it, calling the game "unplayable" and lamenting that they "can't unsee" the off-center design.

Of course, many of the comments about the off-center Poke Ball floor design in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl's Pokemon League build are exaggerating, but others have used this as another example of one of the games' shortcomings. Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl reviews have been mostly positive, but the games still hold the distinction of being two of the lowest-rated main series Pokemon titles released to date.

Some Pokemon fans have been greatly enjoying Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, but others aren't as thrilled with the games. While there are many who appreciate how the games stick close to the originals while offering quality of life improvements, others aren't impressed by the Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl art style and the lack of substantial new content.

It's possible that future Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl updates will add more to do in the games, but that seems unlikely. Pokemon games getting DLC is a relatively new concept, and it doesn't seem like Nintendo will really be interested in supporting these remakes for the long haul. Instead most of the focus will likely be on the upcoming Pokemon Legends: Arceus, which is made by usual Pokemon developer Game Freak and is set to launch as a Switch exclusive at the end of January.

So Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl players shouldn't expect there to be anything in the way of major new content additions. There may very well be updates that address Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl glitches, but fans shouldn't hold their breath for the off-center Poke Ball on the Pokemon League floor to get fixed.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are out now, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
