Pokemon Diamond and Pearl are among the most beloved games in the entire franchise, and after the release of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire players have been very hopeful and vocal about remakes for Generation 4 as well. Thus, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl made many players happy when they were announced, as they would finally allow modern gamers to experience Gen 4 for the first time or be a great fix for nostalgia. Either way, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are rather faithful remakes, which is something that has its pros and cons.
One of the best changes was to revamp the Underground system in a way that allows players to catch lots of rare Pokemon, increasing the variety the more badges and HMs players unlock. Still, one of the most popular Pokemon in both Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and the respective original titles has always been Garchomp, which many players end up using in their playthrough regardless of the other available Pokemon.
With its Dragon/Ground typing, Garchomp is as much of a beast in battle as it looks menacing, with more of a shark-like look than that of a dragon. In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, players have been creeped out by Garchomp's animations while walking out of the Poke Ball, with the Pokemon actually performing a very ominous flight. Even so, Garchomp has its loyal fans, with a Reddit user by the name of Draxy shared their Garchomp costume they made.
The costume perfectly portrays Garchomp, with extreme attention to detail from Draxy, considering the costume is for a female version of the Pokemon, something that can be noticed by the absence of the cut on the back fin. In fact, male Garchomps have a rather deep notch in their fins, but this one doesn't because the fan made it in honor of Cynthia's Garchomp in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, which is female. This is not the first costume made by Draxy, who earlier this year shared a stunning Mewtwo costume on the same subReddit.

Garchomp is not the only Pokemon to have gender differences in its appearance, and there are plenty of other examples in all Pokemon games. Still, one of the most unique-looking Pokemon has to be Spinda, which was recently compared to NFTs because it comes with different fur patterns that are randomly generated out of over 4 billion combinations.
