With Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl having been released more than two weeks ago, many fans have beat Sinnoh’s champion and moved onto post-game content. Of course, not everyone has made it to the post-game and one Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl fan hasn’t even acquired their starter after 120 hours.

Still, those that have beaten Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl's Elite Four will be happy to know there is still quite a bit to do afterward. Although a lot of content boils down to new Pokemon to catch, and new battles to win, there is some more to do as well. One fan on Reddit has documented about 41 things to do after beating the Elite four, with the thread going on to list even more.

The list was created by Reddit user Anonymous19373. It includes some of the larger tasks many fans will probably jump into right after beating the Elite Four. Such an example is completing the Sinnoh Dex to unlock the National Dex which will allow them to catch Pokemon from previous generations. After acquiring the National Dex, Roark, the first gym leader, will share that players can have rematches with gym leaders. These two tasks alone will take up a considerable amount of time, but the Reddit list includes many more tasks to complete, such as entering Stark Mountain with Buck and visiting Fullmoon Island from Canalave City.

Users in the Reddit thread have also chipped in ideas and commented on tasks to add to the list. Of course, the underground secret base is a large feature in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and players can expand on those. Additionally, another trainer near Valor Lakefront also asks the player to revisit him after beating Sinnoh’s champion, and he offers a tough battle.

Although Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl don’t contain Platinum content, there’s still a hefty amount of content for players to enjoy after beating Sinnoh’s champion. Thankfully, most post-game battles are much tougher than those encountered throughout the game. For example, the first gym leader’s strongest Pokemon goes from level 12 on the first battle to level 72 with a rematch.

Apart from being appropriately leveled, there is Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl’s strong friendship stat that will come in handy during these battles. With 8 gym leader rematches, the Elite Four rematches, and a ton of Pokemon to discover, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will keep players plenty busy until Legends Arceus releases in January.
