TMs are items that can be used in the Pokemon games to teach a particular move to a Pokemon. TMs (Technical Machines) can be obtained in all sorts of ways around the Sinnoh region in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, such as defeating Gym Leaders, buying from a shop, or just picking it up off the ground.

TM 79 is a move called Dark Pulse, and if Pokemon trainers want a pretty strong Dark-type move for one of the Pokemon, here's where they can find it in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. However, players should be aware that this TM cannot be accessed until players get all of the Gym Badges and make it to Victory Road before the Pokemon League.

Dark Pulse TM Location in Pokemon BDSP

The Dark Pulse TM can be found inside Victory Road, which is the long winding tunnel that players will need to get through before fighting the Elite Four and Cynthia. The easiest way to find it is to enter Victory Road through its back entrance by the Pokemon League and then follow these directions:

  • Enter Victory Road through the back exit at the Pokemon League
  • Follow the path down, cross the bridge, pass the purple-colored trainer, and then use Rock Climb to move down the cliff.
  • At the first intersection, keep heading left and then use Rock Climb again to scale the cliff.
  • Follow the path across the small bridge and then head up the staircase to a new area.
  • TM 79 will be inside this room, but players will need to use HM Strength to move the rocks.
  • Push the bottom and top stones to the left and push the middle stone down or up to get it out of the way.
