Once Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl has been completed, it can be difficult to find a reason to keep on playing. Perhaps after an extended period of time, it can feel like the experience is new again, but it can be difficult for some gamers to immediately replay a title.

One method of getting more mileage out of a game is to find new and fun ways to beat the game that are out of the ordinary. Some gamers choose to speedrun a game to try and master it and provide a reason to keep returning, and some like to set themselves seemingly impossible challenges.

That is what Twitch streamer Matt_the_FossilJock chose to do with Pokemon Shining Pearl after completing the game's Pokemon League by defeating the Elite Four. Matt_the_FossilJock decided to train an entire team of Unown to between level 66 and 69 and defeat the Elite Four, which includes the incredibly difficult Cynthia in a nearly 30-minute long battle.

One of the focal points of the Unown Pokemon is that it can take the form of many letters and symbols, giving players the chance to catch multiple variations of Unown and the streamer decided to nickname his party Team Boobs! by using Unown's to spell out the word in his party.

Unown is a very interesting choice of Pokemon to use to defeat the Elite Four as it can only learn one move, Hidden Power, which is listed as a Normal-type move, but it varies depending on the Pokemon using it. However, in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl only Unown learns the attack, making it a Psychic only move in the game unless a Pokemon is traded from another game with the move.

With a base power of just 60, the move doesn't deal a lot of damage, but it does have some typing advantages over Cynthia's team which consists of Ghost, Grass, Poison, Water, Ground, Fighting, and Dragon-type Pokemon, so that helps to make the fight a little more manageable.

The worst fight in the battle is against Milotic, which can be incredibly frustrating to fight for a regular team, never mind one consisting of just Unowns. One of the more amusing aspects of the battle is that Garchomp posed little threat to the Unown team, with the Unown "Skeeter" being able to beat it in speed and one-shot it with Hidden Power. Garchomp is the final Pokemon that Cynthia uses and usually spells the end of the road for many trainers.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are available now on Nintendo Switch.
