The launch of both Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl is only a few weeks away, and, understandably, the player base seems to already be teeming with excitement. The Pokemon Company is even building up on the game's release by recently announcing the Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl pre-order bonuses, and now, Nintendo has shared news that special Twitter emojis can be used by the fans on the social media platform for a limited time.

Undoubtedly, many fans of the 2006 Pokemon title were likely elated when the remake was announced back in February 2021. Most would recall that Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl was revealed alongside news of the new open-world title named Pokemon Legends Arceus, which will also be set in the same location but when it was previously known as the Hisuian region. Since the announcement, both the development team and the fanbase have been busy with the many in-game details, gameplay changes, and even rumors involving a specific area for hunting shiny Pokemon. This indicates that the community likely cannot wait until the actual launch to experience all these features themselves.

To drum up more excitement for Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl's release this coming November 19, the official Nintendo of America Twitter account made an announcement that special emojis can now be used by the fans. For a limited time, when Twitter users post using the hashtags #PokemonBrilliantDiamond, #BrilliantDiamond, #PokemonShiningPearl, and #ShiningPearl, a Dialga or Palkia custom emoji will appear beside the phrase. These are the powerful legendary Pokemon found in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

Replies on the Twitter announcement are a mix of excitement about the video game, and other Pokemon fans clamoring for remakes of other older titles such as Pokemon Red and Blue, even the Yellow version as well. Given that a lot of older fans started their Pokemon journey with those titles, it is understandable why they are voicing out their demand for remakes of these games. Seeing as The Pokemon Company has already started re-producing the older video games, fans are likely hoping one of their favorites will be re-made into modern versions as well.

Though this is a seemingly small thing, many players and fans of the title will likely enjoy tweeting their excitement and seeing the Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl emoji on their social media posts. If fans are receptive to this practice, hopefully the devs will also consider making a custom emoji for Pokemon Legends Arceus when it launches in 2022.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will be released on November 19, 2021 for the Nintendo Switch.
