Collecting the purple essence they leave behind is key to this method, as reaching a total of 40 activates the Diglett Rush event, during which players have an increased chance of finding Colored Statues while excavating and Shiny Pokemon exploring the caves. Still, one of the most exciting experiences is still that of finding a Shiny critter in the wilds.
