First 'Pokemon Black 2' & 'White 2' Gameplay Footage Coming Next Week

Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 Trailer

The next two weeks should prove interesting for Pokemon fans. Some exclusive Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 news is scheduled to be revealed tomorrow on the Japanese television show Pokemon Smash, and now fans can expect the first snippet of gameplay from Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 on the following week's episode.

As the Pokemon fan site Serebii reports, Junichi Masuda (a member of Game Freak's board of directors) will be on-hand when the Pokemon Smash episode airs, and he will be showing off a little bit of gameplay from the upcoming titles. The last time Masuda appeared on Pokemon Smash he revealed Pokemon Black 2 and White 2, so he should once again be the bearer of exciting Pokemon-related news.

It sounds like there will be plenty to see too, as Serebii claims that the episode will feature both a quick playthrough of a portion of the games, as well as a "promotional video". It's also been confirmed that gamers will get their very first glimpse of the in-game sprites for Black Kyurem and White Kyurem as they battle each other. Hopefully we'll get a glimpse of some new moves and abilities from the pair of legendaries as well.

There will also be news regarding the legendary Pokemon, Meloetta, and its role in the upcoming games will finally be detailed. As Pokemon Trainers who've engaged in the original Pokemon Black and White are aware, this Pokemon currently can't be obtained through means that don't involve hacking, so the ability to legitimately catch this humanoid monster is some great news for people attempting to complete their Pokedex.

These new details are scheduled to be revealed on April 15th in Japan, which translates to the 14th in North America. We'll have details on that, as well as details on tomorrow's Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 news, as soon as it becomes available.
