It’s obvious just how popular Pokemon still is. Not only do we at Game Rant love to write up new information on the franchise, readers seem to enjoy it – since Pokemon news represents some of our most read articles.

Another way to prove that the series is still favorable by gamers is that we get excited over a new/foreign trailer that’s narrated in a language that we don’t understand — just like the latest trailer for Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2.

The latest trailer for Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 aired during the recent Nintendo Direct, the very same Nintendo Direct that revealed two new Pokemon eShop titles. Even though the Japanese trailer doesn’t reveal too much new info on the games, it does give us a slightly better look into the drastically different Unova region that’ll be appearing in these sequels. Fortunately, the previously unobtainable Legendary Pokemon, Keldeo, will have a role in the new pair of titles, so trainers can move one step closer to catching them all.

There’s nothing new to pull out from the video other than the world that was explored in Black and White has changed dramatically, and it’ll presumably be up to the new protagonist to rectify the situation. Along the way, trainers will be able to participate in filming a faux-movie, catch a ton of older Pokemon from the second they begin their journey, and explore brand new areas. Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 are a lot different than simple remakes, and cynics who believed the games were just a quick cash-in with little to no gameplay additions couldn’t have been further from the truth.

Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 will be appearing on store shelves this Fall.
