The Pokemon franchise has created many memorable creatures and equally memorable memes, but Bidoof, the plump mouse Pokemon, has the honor of being both. This fluffy little creature doesn't have particularly good stats, but is easy to catch in many games and has become increasingly popular over the years. Now, one Pokemon fan has crafted a surprisingly detailed – and delicious-looking – edible tribute to Bidoof.

Redditor miscellaneousmao has previously crafted incredible Eeveelution lunchbox cakes, and now they're moving on to sculpting Bidoof out of bread. This treat, affectionately dubbed "Breadoof," combines a single slice of bread with cleverly piped peanut butter, jelly, an apple, what appear to be pieces of cookie, and a marshmallow.

The video begins with a single slice of undecorated bread on a white plate before miscellaneousmao sculpts the base layer of Bidoof's face from peanut butter, followed by a light layer around the snout made from an unidentified jelly-like substance. After that comes the ears, made from what seem to be cookie slices covered in peanut butter, and the snout, which is also made from a cookie but appears slathered in dark jelly. Miscellaneousmao uses a variety of tools to get the shapes just right, including piping bags, a flattened knife, and scissors. The result may be easily recognizable as Bidoof, especially after the attention Bidoof has received this year.

Bidoof's nose was sculpted from a slice of apple, its front incisors are a marshmallow cut in half, and more dark and light jelly was used to make the eyes. At the end of the video, miscellaneousmao spends several seconds showing off Breadoof from various angles before lifting the sculpture off-screen and taking a bite out of it. While this does confirm that Breadoof was made entirely out of edible materials, it may leave fans of Bidoof shaken.

Fans seem torn between warmly receiving Breadoof and being shocked at miscellaneousmao's willingness to eat it as part of the video. One fan exclaimed that the baker had eaten the Pokemon god, referencing a meme comparing Bidoof to Arceus, while another reported that miscellaneousmao had used Bite in the style of a Pokemon battle. A string of posters discussed making their own Breadoof and throwing it at a rock, which did not cause Breadoof to use Rock Smash. Apparently, the issue is not that Breadoof is made of bread, but that Rock Smash is an HM move and not an egg move.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will release on November 19 for the Nintendo Switch.
